Referee Toolkit Updated! v0.7.5

Hey, all! I updated Brandoff’s Beginner Referee Toolkit for FIST RPG, probably for the final time before the FIST Jam III ends. Some of the feedback has been downright humbling. I admit, I was a little worried about presenting such an odd assortment of scenarios and labeling them “for beginners.” The idea was for new Referees to see a whole array of options, and adopt whatever format makes the most sense at their table. And from the sound of it, that’s mostly come through.

That said, this update should make the adventures even easier. I tweaked the format, and changed the bullet points for NPC and Enemies, making it easier to scan at the table. As a GM, I always value adventures that could be readied at the last minute, say if plans for your regular game falls through, so making it clear as possible is pretty important to me.

I’m proud of this little Zine, I wish I had the time to learn Affinity Designer and carry the oldschool computer OS theme throughout, but that’s coming soon. There’s a lot of great submissions this Jam, and it might be my favorite collection of entries yet.
