Latest Update - v0.2.2 (04/03/22):
- Massive rework to several key scripts. This was a big undertaking with little to no functional change. The main gain from this is that my scripts are now much more well organized and easily readable/expandable. Future proofing!
- Implemented functionality that splits hit effects and damage taken effects. They now play independently. particle systems are still a WIP.
- Implemented sprite flicker upon taking damage. Flora flickers black, enemies flicker white. still experimenting with colors and timings.
- Fixed more issues with tentacles' facing directions and rotations. This was part of the big rework and it seems to be working well now. - Polished (pretty much redid) the Burrower boss fight. The only noticeable change is that it can now be hit everywhere, rather than just in the lighter tentacles. However, this rework cleans up the fight massively. This is my first boss fight, I'm learning a lot =D
