Update Alpha 0.19
The "Immersion" Update:
Added:
- New rooms to explore in the crypt
- Players can now pick up and place torches from torch braces
- New torch lighting sound effects and torch drag
- Procedural water drops and mushrooms now spawn
- Crouching has been introduced
- It is now possible to get crushed to death :)
- New Discord hyperlink in the main menu ;)
Changed:
- Player FOV increased by 5
- Increased max stamina (12 -> 14)
- Increased stamina regen (0.5 -> 0.6)
- Decreased shadow intensity by 40%
- Decreased base sprint speed (14 -> 11.5)
- Decreased sprint stamina drain (1.6 -> 1.3)
- Decreased wall torch spawning chance (25% -> 15%)
- Visual colour palette changed to increase blending and visibility dark areas
- Improved torch bobbing
- Torch light now increases gradually
- Increased interaction area for wall torches
- Torches have been optimised for larger levels
- Improved artefact interactable text
- Interactable and pick up text now fades in and out instead of suddenly appearing and disappearing
- Interactable text generalised and now disappears when not insight of player
- Minor dust particles optimisations
- Decreased frequency of bleeding sound effect
- Creatures have improved cognitive functions
- Creature have increased lung capacity
- Creatures now have functioning necks
- Increased creature population
Fixed:
- Torch particles disappearing forever when outside of a players render distance
- Players no longer get stuck on the ceiling for a short time when jumping near it
- Dust areas spawning dust incorrectly
- Minor preplaced prop issues
- Creatures now have functioning eyes
