#update #controller support
Yep, that’s right, you can now use a controller to play CrabFight (for realsies this time).
- Menus are now all controller-friendly (use the D-pad to navigate between menu items)
- Unfortunately, you will need a keyboard to enter join codes/IP addresses (no idea how to add an on-screen keyboard for controller users).
- Simplified the start game menu a bit
- There’s now only the ‘simple’ lobby-based menu (using Unity Gaming Services) and the IP address menu.
- The join button for the ‘simple’ menu will use quick join if no join code has been entered, but will try to join the lobby with the given join code if a join code has been entered.
- The IP address menu will have your machine’s local IP address (192.168.?.?) entered by default. This is intended to make it easier to host games over LAN.
- This will not work on Android (probably due to some internal security stuff within the Android OS not playing nice with programs trying to find out the local IP address of the machine), so it will still say ‘127.0.0.1’ by default on Android.
- Made menu layouts/scales more consistent across devices as well (no more overlapping menu items)
