So, I wanted to keep this update small, but it didn’t work as I wanted :) The main feature in this update is not finished - Gluebeetle, so it’s not available in the game for now, hopefully will be finished soon.
Next thing: Manacler monster! A new nasty critter, starts spawning at level 8 and patrols at lvl.22. It has a unique action: jumps to the player, drops shackles, jumps back and runs away. The manacles if hit the player character will either unequip and teleport away an item equipped in “shoulders” or “feet” slots. Or if those slots are empty will equip Nude Wristbands (reduce damage by 50% if character is not barechested) or Nude Anklets (reduce speed by 50% if character has bottom covered). They are also quite sturdy and hard to break.
Another very important update is - for a few latest builds the resting was severely disbalanced. I mean it happened as a result of an important fix, but as a side effects the monsters started finding the resting character too often. Now monsters aren’t that active and it’s possible again to rest properly (still risky though ;)).
From minor things:
Zero g trap. Will suspend the character for 5 seconds. Nothing too serious. Unless there are monsters nearby, especially those nasty kinds that make use of immobilized character like tickling or binder slimes.
We have 2 new clothes items: Top and Bottom overwear.
Improved images for some traps - they were too easy to miss one for another before.
And added more temporary images on player’s map sprite, amulets and restraints in the first place.
