#mff-gdintro-2022-a
16.2.2023
1 hour long setup of the project and its attachments during the class (including a creation of my MFF account on the spot x) )
30 minutes for completing the recommended starter Unity tutorials
23.2.2023
30 minutes for installing everything necessary at home
just a bit over 3 hours for doing all the necessary tasks in the HW1
Outcome: Finished build in a .zip file
Notes:
Had a problem with the trigger not displaying the desired particle effect, even though I followed the instructions pretty rigorously.
Every time an asset is brought to the scene it by default pops in on the player. Kind of frustrating when zoomed in a lot and having to go all the way to the start of the level to get the asset and then all the way back to place it where I want to. As of now I haven't found a solution for this.
The default folder location of Unity is super confusing and unintuitive. Created a bunch of unnecessary troubles when creating the build. In the end I just put it in my downloads on C:.
