this update adds three — yes THREE — new classes to the game:
each of these classes also introduces a new mechanic, which i don’t want to spoil! so, i’ll leave you to play with them and figure them out.
two weeks ago i said i’d be back on the weekly release cadence but i lied. most of last week i was in a different city, traveling for my day job, and between work and after-hours social stuff i really didn’t have the energy to add anything worth releasing. but i’m back in the groove now and should be able to keep the weekly cadence going for a while. case-in-point: i pushed the latest build (the one i’m writing about now) less than 24 hours ago and i already have something really good for the next release!
this build is TOUGH. it might actually be the toughest build of this game yet. after a great convo with @KingOfDeadlands on twitter i’m starting to understand just how frustrating it can be when you’re working towards an interesting synergy, but one small slip blows up the whole thing. just want you to know that i understand and i think i have a good solution for this that also won’t compromise too much on the difficulty level — you’re supposed to be the underdog, after all.
