Following on from the popularity of the Wednesday series on Netflix, as well as other monster kid & supernatural school stories in various media, the new Nevermore playset for Troublemakers lets you play misfits and outcasts at an academy that is full of them. Crammed with tips, guidance, NPCs and plot suggestions, there's enough material here for multiple sessions, but the stars of the show are the previews of two new playbooks!
The Seer is haunted by ghosts and can see the spirits of the restless dead swirling about them; they can use this to their advantage but some of the ghosts are also looking for ways to use them.
The Star is an enthusiastic theatre kid or member of the band, who loves to put on a show for everyone and can back up their friends with emotional support at the right moments.
As with the previous playsets, Nevermore can be played as a free, standalone demo but will work best when played in conjunction with the full rules of Troublemakers.
