I've made lots of alterations to this game over the months, so I thought I'd update here.
The new playbooks are much more streamlined and utilize a storytelling method to gain tokens. In this process, your strong moves (spending tokens) are always the same: but your weak moves change as the story moves. This makes it so that a plot progression is created for your character.
There are even climactic moves required to move forward. These operate as act breaks that allow you to progress to the next stage of character.
