Progress Checkup! (Feb. 2023)

Hey there! Sorry if it's been a while, I've been hard at work on many things regarding Scratchin' Melodii.

Since its first appearance in SAGE 2021, the demo of Scratchin' Melodii has received 375,000+ downloads! Thanks so much for all of the support. I can't wait to show you more, I have at least one more major update to the demo I'd like to release before I just focus on finishing the full game. I can't promise a date on either of those just yet, but here's a summary of what's being worked on! (None of this has released yet)

• Remastered vocals for the Act 1 songs (Done!) I've been working with someone who's a lot more experienced using VOCALOID to bring these songs to their full potential.  Can't wait for you to meet them!
• Overhaul of Cream Cheese Icing  (Mostly done!)  The version of Cream Cheese Icing you've already seen was the first rival battle I made for this game, and it definitely shows. The new version of it will better reflect my vision for the game and I'm much more proud of it!
• Various bugfixes and optimizations I've been trying out a few new things I've learned to help reduce lag and file sizes. I hope it's successful!
• Various visual/animation cleanups 
• ??? (Act 2 Rival Battle 1) (Music  mostly prepared...)
• ??? (Act 2 Rival Battle 2) (Music mostly prepared...)
• ??? (Act 2 Rival Battle 3) (Music mostly prepared...)
  

Outside of development, you may have seen that the Scratchin' Melodii Official Site launched recently! Not much going on there at the moment, but I sure do plan to put some neat things there from time to time. There's also a Discord server now as well, which you can join here, if you'd like! (If you do, remember to read the rules and be nice!)
