Update #5.5
HammerA downloadable game for Windows
Completing features in the last update and adding in a couple more
ADDED
- Object pooling applied to enemies
- All enemies are pre-spawned and stored away before the mission begins
- Would definitely love feedback on whether it affects performance significantly, especially stuttering, when spawning new enemies
- Added a rudimentary text box for mech part descriptions in the garage
- Description updates when you mouse over the name of a part or change parts
- Current copy is quite rough and inconsistently written
- Will try to expand this to weapons in the future
- Edge screen effect intensity can now be controlled with a slider in the DISPLAY options
FIXED
- Trees receiving the wrong shaded normals
KNOWN ISSUES
- Target lock graphics may sometimes bug out on newly spawned enemies.
- Still trying to figure out what's causing it
- Custom chassis will not have any part descriptions
- Fighters do not spawn in DEMO mode
- Garage dummy does not preview special weapon animations (two-handed, shoulder-fired)
