Finally after 7 Months I released the next Update for Roll Down and this time I made an Trailer|Devlog that shows the biggest features of the Update!
What I plan for the Future:
This was now the last bigger content Update from, the only thing that I might release for the Singelplayer is a Carrier mode and a Quick event mode together with some bugfixes and balancing based on player data. From here on I would like to concentrate my efforts on the Multiplayer mode and if possible a coop map editor.
Patch-Notes:
- added Switzerland Map
- added three tracks on the Switzerland map
- added one new ball / marble (Volleyball)
- rebalanced and modified all 4 balls:
with 4 different parameters Top Speed, Acceleration, Steering force and Grip
every ball has now a distinct handling and gameplay steal.
for example the Bowling ball has the highest Top Speed which makes it great for a top speed track like Test-ground 1 while the Basketball is perfect for with a lot of turns like Alpine 1.
- Difficulty setting applies now to all game modes
- Now a controversial one, to keep things fear on the leader boards and in the future multiplayer, I locked every track selection to one ball selection. Since after the new distinctive gameplay characteristics it is impossible to keep two complete different ball types at the same pace.
- Reworked the Terrain Material on Austria 2 & Arizona Map
- Speedtrap mode shows players score and rival number have been reduced to 9
- Overworked the Graphics Settings
Some Bug fixes:
- fixed the Fps counter hiding after loading a new map
- fixed the Leaderboard on all maps for GameJolt users and guests
- a lot more smaller bugfixes
