- Many thanks to Degritone for providing numerous bugfix mods that were incorporated into this patch, such as:
- "Fixed" port priority in most cases
- It still exists, but priority changes between p1 and p2 based on a variety of factors.
- Priority is given by checking if a player meets one of these conditions (with higher-priority conditions nearer the top of the list):
- player is currently comboing the opponent
- player is using a slower attack than the opponent
- player is using a higher-damage attack than the opponent
- player has lower sadness (and the values aren't too similar)
- using forward movement
- has lower health
- is player 1
- Mainly you can just ignore port priority now. It may be simplified in the future to reduce knowledge checks.
- Fixed inaccurate frame advantage
- Fixed annoying "sticky DI" bug with XY plots
- Fixed hitboxes not always working properly at high speeds
- Buffs to depression
- Alongside its previous triggers, sadness is now always applied to characters over time if they are not being comboed (this does not offset forward movement, though it makes it less effective at reducing sadness).
- Higher sad means you take more damage.
- If you are in Sadness state (not just Sad!) you take 1.5x damage.
- Sadness state removes all your defensive options.
- You now gain meter a tiny bit faster when you have negative sadness.
- Added option to turn off sadness
- Grab change
- No longer free cancellable
- IASA reduced (23 -> 15)
- Most (all?) normal throws that had infinite hitstun have had their hitstun reduced to 30f.
- fixed some projectiles always getting deleted when they collide with other projectiles (even if they shouldn't)
- Fixed bug that prevents you from gaining meter for the rest of the match
- Added minimum sadness threshold for increased damage taken
- Decreased max sadness damage modifier to 1.5x
- dash now has a (very high) speed limit
Cowboy
- Teleport
- Teleporting long distances backward and upward increases Cowboy's sadness.
- Teleporting forward decreases sadness and gives Cowboy some meter.
- Reduced IASA penalty on forward teleports
Ninja
Quick Slash
- fixed prediction error (credit to Degritone)
Summon (kunai)
- Kunai are no longer eaten by the wall (credit to Degritone)
Summon (down)
- Damage increased (0 -> 65) LOL OOPS
Shuriken (grounded)
- Hitstun increased (6f -> 10f)
- IASA reduced (16f -> 15f)
Grounded throws
- knockback reduced (10 -> 9.25)
- angle adjusted (sends slightly higher)
Nunchuk (upward)
- The closest hitbox to Ninja now hits grounded opponents
- close hit damage reduced (100 -> 70)
Palm Strike
- Startup reduced (5f -> 3f)
Stomp
- Hitbox width slightly increased
Slide Kick
- Increased startup (5f -> 7f)
- Animation and hurtbox altered
- Now projectile invulnerable
- Usable outside of back sway
- IASA reduced (31f -> 17f)
- No longer hit-cancels
- Forward momentum increased (8 -> 12)
- Removed speed cap
- Friction reduced
Skull Shaker
Knockback reduced (4 -> 2)
- DI modifier reduced (1.0 -> 0.5)
- Sends into "dizzy" state which (for now) works exactly like normal grounded hitstun but you can't be grabbed.
- Adjusted opponent hurt animation
