I really love how the Star-Trek-cam has worked-out; I suspect I might tweak it a bit more, but I don't know... I'm finding it almost too fun to bounce off the rocks, now. It's thanks to a free asset called EZ Camera Shake.
At first, I didn't find it (EZ Camera Shake) at all intuitive, but once I began to reverse-engineer the included demo script I got my head wrapped around a few of the basics. It's actually a really cool asset for a freebie; I could see working it into several of my games.
After a week of pondering, I also folded and got the current Unity Humble Bundle, a mix of games produced with Unity plus a handful of Unity Asset Store goodies. So...... I'm using some ambient audio from that (use the [] bracket keys to control the volume of the ambient audio.
It looks like I'm past-due getting some updated screenshots and video posted, but why not just try out the new changes? I promise, they're worth it!
