HammerA downloadable game for Windows
NEW
- Object Pooling partially implemented for projectiles
- Still finagling some stuff into the enemy unit components so that they'll reset properly when pooled
- ESC/START during a battle now pauses the game and pulls up the options menu
- This makes gameplay, display and audio settings accessible without having to return to the garage
- There is an option to restart the current battle
- Some options may be available but not take effect until the scene changes
- A "FLAT" and "FULL" density setting in the mission settings if you hate/love buildings
- "FULL" density might cause freezing when used with the "SMALL" map size
- Fadeout transitions when launching, resetting and exiting from a mission.
CHANGES
- Edge screen effect will now blend additively instead of being a flat gray.
FIXES
- Screen effects will now fade properly rather than pop through the fog
KNOWN ISSUES
- Charge weapon projectile stats will continuously get smaller and smaller if not fired at full charge
- Caused by the projectile stats not resetting before it gets scaled again by the weapon charge factor
- Tutorial text has not yet been updated to reflect some recent changes.
- DEMO player has no options menu and cannot exit back to the garage.
