Devlog 0.6.5 (Middle Update!)

QUICK EDIT: Apparently I (Aion) have messed up and uploaded a not-updated German translation instead of the proper one. I'll work to fix that as soon as possible. You're free to download and play the game until then, but there may be lines that are not translated because of it, and, as a result, I'm not sure if they'll glitch the VN. You've been warned!

It's been a while, huh? Well, you'll still have to wait a bit longer for Day 7, I'm afraid. Just to be clear, this mini-update IS NOT DAY 7. However, this is an update that fixes and improve several things from Day 1 to 6.

Does this mean Days 1 to 6 are different?

No, they're the same days, you can replay them, but, as said, we either fixed things or improved them so they look / sound better. The only thing that has been changed is the duration of the vacation, as stated before. Instead of being 15 Days, it's only going to be 10. This does NOT mean content is going to be lost, just more compacted in a more natural way.

Then, what changed?

  • As stated, instead of 15 Days, the game is now 10 Days, so every character mentions that too. This is the only plot change, the rest of the game follows the same beats as before.
  • The other major change is that the phone scenes are more interesting now! Instead of being only Robert texting, the screen now splits in two so you can see the other character reacting to the messages or the call. Hopefully this will improve those scenes. There was an attempt to add sprites of each character looking at their phones while these scenes happened, but we decided against it because we could add more range of emotions like this, and, quite honestly, because I didn't like how they were looking, my bad.
  • There is also an option to play the game in German up to Day 6 in Preferences! Translation has been a really tough job from Thaid, but he's done it for everyone who wants to enjoy this story in this language! Thank you so so SO much, it's legit impressive, and super appreciated!
  • The sounds and music have been readjusted so now everything has the same volume. Hopefully no one will have to keep raising or lowering the volume anymore when certain tracks play.
  • Speaking of sounds, we've added a few piano keys to make Robert's power more clear in specific moments! Admittedly, it's something I might change again if I find sounds that fit better in those scenes in my opinion, but so far I'm happy with them!
  • There's been quite a few grammar and sprite mistakes that have been fixed, so everything should have the proper grammar and all the sprites should speak when they're supposed to speak!
  • Although you wont' be able to see them in this update, all the sprites for Day 7 have been properly colored and shaded, so there'll be a bunch of new sets. There's also some CGs completed, but there's more to go!

Also, just so our Patreon supporters can know, NO ONE IS GOING TO GET CHARGED FOR THIS UPDATE. It's been a lot of work, admittedly, but since it's not new content, it wouldn't feel right to charge people for it. We'll do that once Day 7 is fully ready and uploaded. There is also a new addition to our team, Imbroglio! He's going to help me finish the CGs, and I'm sure this is going to speed up the process for Day 7 A WHOLE LOT!

If you wanted an excuse to replay Cor, or maybe try the other routes, I'd say this is the moment, and if this is your first time, I feel like this version will play better than before. Overall, thanks to everyone who's so patient and supportive with us, and I'll see you all soon~!
