Today I decided to publish something I have been sitting on since 2015. At the time I was often playing the board game "The Witches" which was designed by Martin Wallace back in 2013. After many, many sessions it started to feel a bit too repetitive, so I decided to make a private expansion of the game, these rules were never meant to be published or shared. After a discussion on a forum about the game, I decided that I was going to share it anyways. All the rules are published under a creative commons license. The images used are to a high degree remixed from the original game.
This is a text presenting the project:
"This is a fan-made unofficial expansion to the fantastic board game "The Witches: a Discworld game" (Martin Wallace, 2013). It changes the rules for the special abilities of the four different witches. It adds 9 cards that make the outcome of failing "problems" a bit more varied, aaaand it introduces a few small changes to how "cackle counters" and "having tea" works.
I hope you like it! Please consider rating the expansion.
PS. You need the original board game to utilize these rules. This is the board game in question: https://boardgamegeek.com/image/1790803/witches-discworld-game DS."
