Experimental build: bug squashing

Predatory Pursuit
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

This is mostly bug-fixes and tweaks.

You now go into the spectator view when grabbed. I want to have an option for a first-person POV, but it’s kind of janky – the ragdoll goes crazy if you get pushed into a wall, and it’s all very jerky.

Throwing has been fixed. Fen now lets go! I completely forgot to set it up…

The spectator camera was incorrectly reading input from Unity’s old input system. It probably feels a bit different now. Also, it no longer orbits and zooms when the debug menu is open. This is mostly for me, since I need to scroll around the editor to mess with things :p

The basement now has a killplane that sends you back to a spawnpoint if you fall out. I’ll add this to other scenes later. I also removed an out-of-bounds spawn point.

Fen now crouches when investigating a position it can’t reach. I need to mocap some more stuff to let it get really low and root around like it’s trying to fish the TV remote out from under the sofa.

You can now run while crouching. It’s a bit goofy looking. You can also now fit into smaller spaces when crouching. There’s nothing stopping you from standing back up and getting stuck, though.

The “Found Footage” style is no longer the default. I forgot I’d set it that way! I will probably add a suggestion to try it out, though.

Fen’s swallows now create some camera-shake, and I tweaked the swallow ragdolls a bit. Still working on that…
