The Stillness First Release!!

Hello everyone!

I'm really excited to bring you the very first release of my Visual Novel The Stillness.

Before I get into the details of the update, I would just like to tell you a little bit about both the game and myself.

I'm Chrys, and this is my first ever real attempt at making a game like this. I've been writing since I was little, starting with stories that only cringe little eight year olds can think of, moving on to stories only cringe edgelord teenagers could think of, and now writing a story that hopefully subverts all of the cringe that I've written in the past.

Like I said, this is my first attempt at making the game, so I know the renders aren't perfect. Some of them came out alright, others, don't quite look how I wanted them, but frankly I couldn't exactly figure out how to get them to where I wanted so I made the decision: finished is better than perfect, just release it and learn more for chapter 2. So here it is!

The Stillness is going to be a character-driven story, and will be story first, porn second. I know that almost any dev these days is going to make that same claim, but for me, this story actually started as an attempt at writing a novel (read: with way less sex and only one love interest), but as I became more and more involved with the world of AVN's, I thought this story lent itself really well to the format, and I really only had to adapt a few things to turn it into what it is now.

I hope you'll give it a try, and that you'll enjoy it. I really put my heart into this story, so I hope that it shows. Thank you for giving my game a chance!
