Alpha 2.5 Changelog
New Features
- Added overworld structure system
- Can stumble across small ruined buildings in forest biomes containing some loot
- Only one structure type for the time being but underlying system has been set u
- Added a blood splatter effect on the ground when a creature is damaged
- Added a shimmering/enchanted effect to "special" items
- Slightly changed the combat text to denote damage type which will be used more next update.
Bugfixes
- Fixed an issue where "ways down" in caves would still generate even on the last floor; causing a crash when moving to a new floor that doesn't exist
- Removed "seconds" from save file time to prevent text bleeding out of the box
- Fixed an issue with the shimmer effect where switching to fullscreen would cause the effect to disappear until quitting and loading
