For the game jam hosted on itch.io called Gaming like it's 1927, I was inspired by Fritz Lang's Metropolis in terms of aesthetics and themes. The concrete architecture and underground cities in the film perfectly capture the class struggles depicted in the story, which are still relevant today. As a solo developer, I used AI as both a creative and technical partner in the development of this game. My goal was to create a game similar to Rotwang in the original film, where it's not clear whether it's me or the machine creating the game. I utilized OpenAI's Dalle and ChatGPT to generate prompts for images and code that are now integral parts of the game. Overall, the goal of this project was to explore the relationship between humanity and technology, using the themes and aesthetics of Metropolis as a foundation.```
