Hi! Lots of changes to the Sock It Demo have been made to improve the experience, with some more on the way. Here's the list:
Balance:
- Nerfed the final segment of the running stage, now platforms are bigger, and the whole thing is designed more fairly
- Nerfed Vince the Fridge's desperation attack to be a little easier to dodge.
- Made it so, if damage is taken at all, the combo is lost. Now it is more challenging to get points.
Visual:
- Added bullet trails to Ashley's introduction. Oooooh!
- Removed sprite filtering, so now the image is more crisp
- Added a slight rotation to bosses. Adds personality, and the effect of them being hit by a punch in the face.
- Added rope physics to the ring. (Thanks so much to NeZvers). This change isn't too notable, but the rope physics are being used more substantially in a future boss.
- Improved graphics, such as running skull,
Audio:
- Fixed audio clipping in some instances
Bugs:
- Fixed nasty softlock if the timer goes off with the Glass Cannon. Sorry!
- Fixed Glass Cannon falling over in a muted fashion. Honestly kinda scary.
Other:
- Overhauled tutorial animations. Now it's clearer how the game should be played based on how the punching bag behaves.
- Added link to the official Discord server. Join or you'll be isekai'd into At the Mountains of Madness!
Couple more changes are underway, these will take a bit.
