found and fixed an issue with the main cart which caused it to not reset the collected watch piece items properly after starting a new game
modified several sprites across the game in an effort to make them at least a bit more readable.
rebalanced the difficulty of the game to be more casual-friendly. This involved changing a requirement to get a particular item, lowering damage very slightly in select areas of the game, and tweaking the behavior of the 4th boss.
changed some level layout to potentially decrease confusion. this included modifying the beginning of the game to decrease the potential paths to take, and changing select parts of level 4 (to which I also added a feature which notifies the player in a particular situation that they have more things to do in order to progress)
