Hello everyone!
I've begun working on Goldheart 2 and wanted to go back and improve the original a bit. I also added a web version to play in your browser.

DEVLOG:
-FIXES:
-Fixed various minor visual bugs and oversights
-Fixed Blackroot skip and Blackroot respawn issue
-Fixed Golden Slime sfx volume issue
-Fixed Golden Slime post-defeat invisible hitbox bug
-Fixed Nightmare enemy zone issue (Blackshapes no longer leave their area)
-Fixed postgame button display
-Fixed swamp landslide sfx
-Skully can no longer be damaged during dialog (previously there was no dialog near enemies so this fairly obvious issue never came up)
-Fixed desert gate event reset
-Fixed transition restart issue
-Fixed multihit bug (the charge shot was able to hit the same enemy once per every frame leading to accidental instant-kills)
-Fixed Skully's look direction during the opening cutscene
BALANCING:
-Nerfed final boss
-Buffed Swarm boss
-Added a savepoint before the Golden Slime boss
-Increased Golden Slime ring attack warning duration
-Made the central room of the Pit Dungeon less confusing
-Increased charge shot strength (10=>20)
-Extended I-Frames
QOL:
-The torches in the castle can now be interacted with to clarify their use
-Final boss phase 1 is skipped if skully is killed in the 2nd phase
-Added cutscene bars (black lines appear on the top and bottom of the screen when player control is disabled)
-Lavka's barrier now disappears once Blackroot is defeated
-Added healthbars to the angel enemies
MISC:
-Added censor text option (redacts swearing from dialogue)
-Replaced the Marble Temple music with the Marble Chamber theme from Evernight
-Edited some of the dialog
-Added new NPCs to improve worldbuilding
-Clyde now becomes friendly immediately after fighting him. Previously Skully had to return to the swamp to interact with it, which, to my knowledge, few players did
