Quick update!
At some point, I put the four columns in the central chamber on their own physics layer (to solve a problem that no longer exists), and I forgot to make the player collide with that layer. Oops. The player can no longer walk through columns.
The text in the book has been stripped of diacritics to increase compatibility across systems, and to resolve a crash I was having on my new linux install.
