Dear Readers,
I am here today to reassure you that despite the lack of updates, atlas. is not dead. A lot of life has happened in the past couple of months, but it has remained there, slowly but surely growing.
Life is still pretty crazy, as it tends to be by definition, but I feel that I have finally reached a place where I can once again carve out a consistent, secure niche of it for atlas.' development.
So, although it may be a little early for it, I have a New Year's Resolution for you: by Halloween/Samhain of next year, Act I will be further polished and re-released, and Act II will be fully released. As you may know, Samhain marks an important event in the game's story, so I thought it appropriate to use it as the goal for such a resolution :).
As it stands at the moment, about 1/2 of Act II is written and animated, while about 90% is sketched out. There are a lot more choices, characters, and overall content that makes up Act II. We hope you're looking forward to it. Once the first half/draft of Act II has had a little more time to marinate, we'll send it out into the wild for a test run, along with patches for Act I. We look forward to your feedback :).
