I had a few people comment about lag when it comes to the Christmas Trees, and I admit I witness some of that, but assumed it was due to me testing the game in the editor and I got a pretty strong rig. Anyway, after taking a close look at the Christmas model assets I discovered what might be the reason why the lag, all the models had a pretty high poly count (the lights around the tree alone are like 90k poly) and even worse none have LODs (distance from the model reduce the poly amount). So to fix this issue I used Unreal 4's LOD generating system and heavily reduce many of the model's poly counts and such. You probably will notice little pop-in when it comes to the trees and some models might look a little off at a distance but since the game is doing a retro pixel look those issues might add to the game's look and charm. Anyway hope this fixes the Lag issue.
