It turns out there's a lot of people who prefer dot grids! I added a new version of the journal ("dungeonmakerdots.pdf") to the downloads for those folks. It's nothing fancy, just dots where the "graph paper" was. Drop a comment if you need singles of the new version, or something.
Since I'm here, I'd like to say that there's really no wrong way to do #dungeon23. As long as you are making an effort to break a really big project into smaller, digestible parts, I think you've got the spirit of this thing well in hand. My goal for this project was to make something really bare-bones and minimalist without a lot of bloat, to keep printing costs and design paralysis at a minimum for people. I think the weekly spreads achieve this nicely, but the other thing I'm hearing is that a lot of folks are looking for a daily spread.
That's a very valid approach. I'm running a little behind on some other projects, but lemme tell ya: I'm tempted to do another version of this for the maximalists out there.
