I am here to announce a smaller bugfix and polishing release as well as share some general news.
The most exciting news is that I had the much-needed help of an editor, Faust! The released text has been substantially edited and improved!
This is also the best-looking release, with a few new animations added here and there.
So what have I been doing the rest of the time? I am glad you asked. I have been working on Bird Fight Club.
If you liked the classical fantasy setting of Bookbound, you will discover that Bird Fight Club is... not that. While Bookbound is more inspired by the Western RPG tradition, Bird Fight Club is a love letter to the JRPGs that defined my youth, paired with absurdist humor and a dystopian, vaguely 90s setting with sentient birds.
Bird Fight Club also proved to be a perfect playground to hone my VN development skills, so you can be excited to see lots of technology transfer between both projects.
So when will we see Act 2 of Bookbound? Early next year. Promise!
