For the text font it was obvious to go for PIXEL. The aesthetic of my game is pixel art and so I wanted the reader to get the feeling that the game will have a pixel art style simply by reading the front and hopefully trigger anything that is associated with pixel art.
I initially went for a Dark Red for the Front Colors but realized that it was not easy to read with the background being red as well. I sadly had to settled for a boring plan Black.
For the link colors I choose a neon purple #ed23b4 because I wanted it to stand out from the strong red background. Almost telling the reader to "Click Me" with its bright vivid color.
