Oh lord it's already been more than a month since i finally published this game...
Well, now that it's december, welcome to the first and final 2022 progress report (December will basically be a break from this project, development resumes next year).
New chapter means new stuff, a lot of new stuff, the main focus however is updating the entire world after you defeat chapter 1's boss, because a LOT has to be updated, i've already finished all the NPCs except one anyway.
As for what's to come in the future i already have everything planned, although there's some content inbetween and a lot i have yet to decide, when the time comes i'm sure continuing the story will be fine regardless.
Obviously many new sprites for the other main characters have been made as well.
Nothing has been made for the new areas yet.
This is like the first thing i began to work on for this chapter, i finished 4 new tracks already, this is also where i started using amen breaks so composing has been more fun.
Also, a small hint, my development history video on my youtube channel contains a sneak peek for two of these tracks.
Soo funny story, ever since i started development everything went smoothly, i've programmed two new cutscenes and the new NPCs so i thought coding would be a piece of cake for a good while.
Not.
I'm already on my first roadblock and it's just a simple NPC change, i hope this holiday break will give me the push to overcome it.
Other than that, nothing much has changed.
And that's all the updates i have, so far i'd say chapter 2 is... 2% done, which isn't much but it shouldn't be as bad in the future.
