Hello everyone!
I had a tremendous response to the initial release and playtest. I took a lot of feedback and criticism into account in this new version. Plus, I have a new cover made by a fabulous artist, David "Arcvein" Simons! It reminds me of the old Marathon 2 splash pages, and that makes me very happy.
This is probably the last major version update before the kickstarter launches (though I'll put out minor balance edits as I playtest more). I'm going to devote my time and energy now from writing over to production - hiring artists and getting the game kickstarter ready. I realize that launching in 2022 is not a realistic goal at this point, but I do still plan to launch in the first half of 2023. Once the kickstarter launches, this will be the last full version of the game available for free. The player-facing rules will always be free, but all the GM chapter stuff will only be included in the full version, which I eventually plan to charge for (though I'll add community copies, I'm sure).
