i've decided to split the game into two game modes:
✱ a Standard mode where you play through the 3 demo areas normally, and
✱ a BETATEST mode where you're warped straight to the (unfinished) 4th/5th area.
this is so that i can get playtest data from the later areas, even though the game doesn't linearly take you there yet.
there's currently 3 new rooms in the BETATEST area. this marks the change from version 2c to 2d.
