Artifacts are here (and Elite Orcs guarding them)!
Many players have wondered: What are those 2 little slots under every mighty dwarf for? The answer is finally here: Artifacts! This will add a new layer of strategy to the game: Protect your backline, apply debuffs or even revive your fallen dwarves! But Artifacts are not easy to come by, they are fiercely guarded by a new type of enemy: The Elite Orc.
Here is a detailed list of the implemented changes:
Patch 25.11.2022:
*New Features*
- Added new item type: Artifacts
- Every dwarf can carry up to 2 Artifacts when placed in the slots underneath him.
- You can choose 1 out of 3 Artifacts every 10 battles after the first 20 battles for free.
- Artifacts have a small chance of appearing in shop after battle 20.
- Artifacts might gain stronger effects when they are of higher rarity.
- Added 8 new Artifacts:
- Gold Ore: -7(17)% speed, +14(34)% weight. Gain level x10 gold on level up.
- Tungsten Ore: -15(35)% speed, +20(50)% weight. Gain +1 STR on level up.
- Phoenix Feather: Revives the dwarf holding it after battle. Will disappear after applying the effect.
- Ring of Blood: +6(11)% chance to apply bleeding for 5s on attack. +12(22%) increased damage against bleeding targets.
- Razorblade Ring: +4(9)% crit chance and +18(33)% crit damage.
- Ring of Restoration: Restores 1.7(2.7)% of max HP every 2 seconds. Gain +1 STA on level up.
- Ring of Thunder: -20(35)% thunder damage received. Enemy thunder spells will prioritize the wearer and restore 10 mana.
- Amulet of Warding: -25(40)% magic damage received.
- Added new type of Enemy: Elite
- Elite Orc: Will first appear in battle 20 and every 10 battles after that.
- Added 2 different highscores (can be found in the Guide):
- Most battles won with deserting (i.e. when you leave during a battle)
- Most battles won without deserting (the true highscore)
- Added Guide section for secondary stats (crit, crit damage, etc.)
*Changes*
- Changed dwarf recruit cost: 4th dwarf - 200g, 5th dwarf - 300g, 6th dwarf - 400g, etc.
- Increased chance of "Recruit" event when you have few dwarves, decreased chance when you have many.
- Added more visibility to abandoned battles.
- Made some slight UI adjustments.
- Slightly adjusted font to be more readable.
*Bug Fixes*
- Fixed a bug where fallen dwarves would reappear in the inventory.
- Fixed a bug where dwarves could disappear from your inventory when you pressed a button while dragging them around.
- Fixed a few minor visual bugs.
- Hopefully fixed a bug where in some cases the GPU would go crazy when using the executable.
