An actual game!

FINALLY!  it took me a week longer than it should have, but i'm finally done with this "jam" game.  i ended up with something that i thought was pretty cool and i wanted to put a lot of polish on it before putting it out. 
this is the most work i've ever done on a game.  it's not a very original game, and the art is super low-res, but i think it looks pretty nice for that aesthetic.  there were a lot of firsts for me on this game.  this is the first time i've attempted making a game that used randomly generated rooms.  it was a lot of work getting things to work out right.  then i spent a lot of time trying to make the game somewhat balanced.  this is also the first time i've ever made a Boss for a game.  i also made a ton of sounds in BFXR specifically for the game, AND i made 3 music pieces for the soundtrack.  there's still a few more sounds and little details i could add in here and there, but i think it's okay as is and i didn't want to wait any longer to put it out for people to play.
so yeah, i missed the jam deadline, but i think it was totally worth spending an extra week on it.  hopefully you are too!
