Welcome back!
It's been about 18 months since the last update, but I've finally found some time to start regularly dedicating to developing this game, so expect more frequent updates moving forward.
The new changes and bug fixes are listed below. I've got a big list of improvements for the game, including race-based skills, an alignment system, in-game time and exhaustion, more quests, just to name a few. Feel free to leave comments if you have suggestions, and I'll happily consider them. Otherwise, good luck out there!
What's new?
- The user is now prompted with a message if they kill an NPC who they had a quest for, and the quest is removed from their quest list.
- Merchants now restock supplies on a daily basis. Random supplies will be added and removed from their inventory each day so that you can find new items and consumables more regularly
- To balance the above change, it now costs gold to rest in towns
- Resting is now possible in any non-hostile location around the map. However there is a chance your rest will be interrupted by some unwanted guests who will try to murder you. If you're lucky they'll attack in the morning, once you're fully rested. But sometimes they'll come at night before your wounds have had a chance to heal.
Bugs fixed:
- Fixed a bug where you could hand in the same quest multiple times to stack rewards
- Fixed a bug where, after killing the mysterious stranger and resting, they would be back alive somewhere on the map
