Shard War is my attempt at making a fun and easy accessible auto-battler, with RPG elements. This is night 5 of progress.
Choose your Champion army leader, defeat other Champions to unlock them in battle. Each Champion has a total mana reserve that is used to place units in combat.
Travel the World and explore each location. There'll also be shops for usable items.
Strategically place down your units, or spam-spawn lots of Skelies.
Collect Shards and spend them on upgrading your battle units.
I'm currently toying with the idea of making it multiplayer, perhaps not realtime, but maybe in a turn based, best out of 3 match where the player plays the last persons move replay; that way I can just use a web API and make it more potato-connection friendly.
I'm very open to artist/sound folk collaborations. Currently it's just solo-development. Tools are Unity and Aseprite for art.
