Future plans + first week retrospective

Point & Sin
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

It's been a week since Point & Sin was first published.

Initially, it was intended as a 3-day long side project, but I quickly fell in love with the game, as did the other three team members. Which is why we would like to continue developing it. However, most of us have jobs, studies and our own projects, so it will take a while until we will be able to properly allocate the time to continue Point & Sin.

The past week I had time off work, so I used this chance to prototype some new features that can be expected in a future update. Namely, the skill tree. For now, there is only one passive skill that has been implemented in the game and it still needs a lot of fine-tuning.

It is called ASPECT OF ASTAROTH

While Aspect of Astaroth is active, enemies killed by your melee attacks are resurrected as your minions. Levelling the skill increases the max number of minions you can raise from the dead.

I also added another sin - SLOTH. Quite aptly, it doesn't do anything, so there's no point in upgrading it (and I'm tempted to leave it at that).

There's still much to do and bugs to fix and I cannot wait to resume working on Point & Sin. Right now, I will be focused on finishing up my main project, Memedieval.  Meanwhile, you can follow me @neguligames to keep up to date with any news and developments.

Cheers
