Post reading-week build. We have some animations now, but haven't had time to integrate them. We have completed a bunch of changes though:
Add character textures
Implement join menu where players can select their 'skin'
Add coloured circle around player feet to better indicate who's who
Implement win/lose screen
Music speeds up in the last minute
Change clock from countdown timer to be a digital clock - going from 8am to 6pm
Implement initial level system. First level has 2 babies each subsequent level adds a baby until a level fails.
Add review UI element to indicate parent reviews at the time they come in, to hopefully communicate better what is happening.
Fix bug where multiple babies could have the same colour
Fix bug where oil icon would not dissapear after refueling a baby
Fix bug where babies could fly out of the map
We made a ton of progress over reading week and have a bunch of great changes based on feedback. We've made a huge step of implementing the level system, which means that we have reached the milestone of all major systems being implemented. Aside from this we've added a bunch of UI and UX improvements to help with player communication.
