Hello!
Then it was time for a new update on the game's development!
Now I've spent some time on screen shaking when the player shoots to get a little more perceived response. Also added stronger screen shaking when the player is hit by the enemy and also an animation on the life bar, and oh my god what a difference it makes in the gaming experience. I think a video on this will be on the next devlog. Also started adding in some explosions when the enemies die for a little more eye candy.
Additionally, an online leaderboard has been added thanks to the SilentWolf plugin (https://silentwolf.com/). I think it might be a bit more of a carrot for the player to compete their scores with other players online. There will of course be an offline high score for those who don't want to post.
