An update for Bone2 has been released addressing some gameplay issues and tweaks.
Changes:
- Added cheats (separate post will be made listing them)
- Added a function to toggle pixel perfect scaling
- Added a function to set VSync
- Added more resolution options
- Added functionality for skipping cutscenes that are missing from the files
- Added more health pickups into dark world
- Added right trigger as an additional shoot button on gamepads
- Changed boomerang bullets to be semi-transparent
- Changed required lives to return to light world from 5 to 0
- When a boss is beaten for the first time, the game will now send the player back to the level select
- Fixed toggles in the UI not working correctly with the mouse and controller inputs
- Fixed enemy bullets sometimes dealing damage when at near 0 scale
- Fixed player bullets being able to kill more than one enemy at once
- Fixed total run timer not adding time of failed level attempts
- Fixed softlock on level clear if pressed any key too early
- Fixed pause menu allowing unpausing if a confirmation prompt is on screen
- Fixed bullet movement speed being somewhat dependent on the source object's scale
- Fixed UI button animation skipping when the window was minimized
- Fixed inconsistent splitter bullet behaviour and added a subtle shake effect when it is destroyed
- Fixed the game not reading if the player had a previous run from the save file
- Made the following changes to the secret boss in dark world:
- Decreased attack delay by 50%
- Increased speed of the gun shooting attack by 100%
- Increased normal walk speed for both variants by a slight amount
- Removed Mr Mix resetting your word progress on hitting his shield
- Updated the Bloody Marry localization files
