Devlog Week 8
Note: Since we are heavily working on the game, there is no build to upload this week since it is not ready yet and will be by tomorrow night for playtesting
- Other:
- Started writing the Playtesting Report and analyzed Pre-Alpha Data
- Dev:
- Created the skeleton for the Second Level
- Create 'Mud' type of terrain that when player walks on it the walking speed is reduced
- Add a fading and re-entering ice cube around the player to show the level of freezing for the player in winter
- Implemented PS Controller Support for the Menu buttons
- Working on a Level Manager Section
- Reworked the movement and jumping of the character after Feedback Response
- Reworked most of Level 1 to fit the new movement and jumping
- Fixed an error that caused wrong walking torques if you walked on ice and immediately jumped - fixed
- fixed behaviour that allowed jumping height to properly decrease and increase during winter freezing
- Props and Art:
- Drowning Animation completed, remaining animations in the work
- Snowing Effect reworked, working on Change seasons effects and leaves despawning effects
- New Tree Model created
- New Season UI change created
- Audio:
- Working on the Main Theme, started rendition of a Pause Theme
- Created more environmental effects
