I've made some progress on coding, so it's time to put some thought back into the concept and visuals.

I made a very basic Tv, mostly as a placeholder but I do like this idea.

A virtual monitor in AR sounded like a stupid idea but having developed it, I like it. I would like to recreate my desk from my home, with the monitor and mess. I think the inclusion of a desk and some clutter would stop the scene from feeling so fake, which is a huge hangup I have with using AR.

Currently, when you look away all that happens is a flash of red text. I would like this to scale. the longer you look away the worse the punishment is.

An idea of this could be:

stage 1: Ad pauses

stage 2: Ad requests you continue watching

stage 3: ad demands you continue watching

stage 4: Text starts appearing

Stage 5: Ringing alarms/white noise

stage 6: Text gets harsher

etc...

I also need to start coming up with ideas for the ads. and the video they interrupt. Within the time frame, I think it is possible to have a video presentation of the concept intertwined, so the ads the more important thing.

Could I get away with them all being parodies of YouTuber sponsorship ads or fast-talking drug commercials?

"Now for a word from our sponsor: Blitz Silhouette tales..."

"Let me tell you about marmalade, and how it can save you money while shopping online"
