20% of work takes 80% of the time
The scene has been ported from 2D to 3D. This simple phrase does not convey all the work and development process changes, which include 3D modeling, coloring, lighting, rigging, skinning, animating and video editing. If interested in details, within a few days I'll make a devlog post. Here's a static 2D vs 3D comparison:
It's hard to tell from still images, but the difference in the animations is obvious. I'm just not posting animations here since they are NSFW.
Regardless, this switch should lead to faster development and better looking scenes in the long run; I'm trying to do all the big changes from the beginning so a fundamental quality is not changed when half a game is done and have things have start from 0.
Besides that, the only other player-visible change is that the message when binding keys is more informative.
