Wassup guys, Bambuko here
It was a long time since I wrote something
You may be wondering: Is this project dead? Nope
The problem is, that when we were making QWP in Unity, most things were covered for us: Entity Controller System, physics, etc.
Now, in C++, we are making everything from scratch (world generator, saving/loading, rendering), and it takes much longer to make a feature, because of learning in the process, and understanding the topics.
Also a little Q&A section:
- When will the game release?
Well, I don't know how things will go, but maybe in 2023 it will be avaiable to play (no promises, this can change)
- Will there be multiplayer on the release?
Probably yes, depends if things will work correctly (which probably won't but who cares)
- What about the lore?
I can't say anything about that, but stay tuned :)
I could probably write more, but there isn't a lot to talk about organization. BUT if you want to know the development process, go check my youtube channel, devlogs incoming!
