Ideal Working Hours
As priorities change weekly whether academic or personal we have come forward to agree on the following terms...
- A minimum of 4 hours will be invested per week to execute on respective deliverables
- Taking into consideration external time commitments varying days per week will be selected for team collaboration.
- This will occur in-person (Campus) or online (Teams)
Independent work will be completed on own hours
- Each team member is responsible for providing updates on their timeline, any blockers, and progress updates
Pref Communication Method
- Slack: With multiple features available such as: private/group chats, video calls, channel management, & much more
Internal Project Mang Tool
- Trello: Snapshot view of the project's progress. Features allow tagging topics, individuals, and set dates. Ensures everyone is aligned with workflow and task tracking.
External Project Mang Tool
Itch.io: Public documents to explain the progression of the project from administration, setup, VR Stage, Bodies, VR Performance, User Testing, and Quality Assurance (Bugs/Errors).
Methods for Sharing Resources
- GitHub: GitHub will be used to host the code for version control and ensure collaboration amongst us designers
- WeTransfer: Due to the large files being developed for each asset of the project, WeTransfer will be used to share files.
Agile Approach for Speed & Intensity of Production
Agile will ensure an iterative approach to project management, asset, and software development which will help to sustain and deliver upon our vision
- Weekly deliverables will be organized within sprints for each design aspect of the project
-
Each sprint will take into account, users testings, quality assurance, and fixing errors/bugs
- Our project will be subdivided into iterative cycles depending on the user experience feedback to keep updating and refining
- A checklist format will be used to ensure each milestone within a sprint is achieved
Project Scoping
Based on our current assumptions and ensuring our aspirations are achievement able we have concluded with the following approach.
- One painting only
- Environment/Settings creation
- 2 costumes for two players
- Sound production
- VR Bodies interaction (costume change)
- The scope may grow as we become more experienced and comforted with our skills
