Blaise Morales Worklog - 11/2

the Gray
A downloadable game

Overall time - 8 hours

10/30 - 1 Hour

  • Working on a couple additional foliage objects like larger trees and shrubs.

10/31 - 1:30 Hours

  • Reviewing some objects for possible improvements / reduced poly count, unwrapping.
  • Start a mockup scene of what The Grey's environment could look like based on reference images.


11/1 - 2:30 Hours

  • Creating additional props to fill The Grey's environment. Including some extra house designs, chairs or tables, fountain / statue thing.
  • Go into greater depth with the mockup. Include some test textures, throw in more foliage and newer props. Twisty landscape and forested / mountainous backdrop.
  • Redo the bed texture, aiming for a lower poly look that better fits the theme we might be going for.

11/2 - 3 Hours

  • Opening up the "Gluttony" rig and experimenting.
  • Aiming to troubleshoot some issues with the rig which cause some oddities when animating. Not successful as of yet.
  • Complete a practice animation. If fine tuned after fixing issues, this could be polished into an idle animation or interaction animation.
