I decided to release Tex Mechs. This is a game I put a lot of work into when I first decided that I wanted to write games. Tex Mechs was a real labor of love and it combines things I am passionate about. Mecha and Kaiju Fiction, Agriculture, Environmental Science and of course TTRPGs.
Unfortunately I think I bit off a lot more than I could chew with this one. Tex Mechs comes in at a whopping 94 pages in its current non-commercially viable form and I predict that with proper page layouts and art it would be closer to 120 pages. Tex Mechs is a big project and I can't get it into a state that I would feel good about charging money for at this time. So what I am left with is a bunch of writing that I am proud of and that I think is pretty good in a state that I can't really sell.
So I am giving it away!
If you are looking for a game with mechs, monsters, cowboys, bandits, authoritarian cities, wilderness frontier, economic and agricultural simulation, and cool gunfights with mecha sized six shooters, Tex Mechs is yours and you can't beat the price.
