Another day, another amount of work for the LOWREZJAM.
So, one of the NPCs was something an acquaintance requested I add to the game, and they made a death sprite for this character today. It's not shown in the screenshot, so feel free to use one of the monsters to murder the town denizens and see if you can find which one has the death sprite! Ahah... wow, I come up with weird game design ideas.
You can now walk back and forth between the Forbidden Zone at the top-left courner of the map, and the small island at the bottom-right courner of the map. This means that virtually everything can be reached on the map, save for one little hidden map I haven't implemented yet. The two most important items to add to the game will be the Hammer and the Txt Mask, so it'll be important for monsters to drop their items on death, and then respawn with the item in their inventory.
And I only have 3 days left! The jam's almost over, and yet I only have 3 characters with fleshed out sprites. But hey: at least there's a waterfall? But at least for ambition, I can get about half of my ambition done. ^^;
