With the development of 0.5, this game has now reached a minimum viable product stage!
While not every scene that we eventually want in this game is built in right now, and there's clearly a lot of polishing work ahead of us, we've got the skeleton of the game and a decent amount of meat on this game - we now have art assets, scenes, and music assembled all together, along with the outlines of the plot and some rudimentary animations!
We've now managed to implement all the major mechs, all the major characters, and some of the endings that we envisioned from the start. There's now routing, a major decision, and consequential decisions for the final route, as well as the eventual style of the game. We're much more satisfied with this - it truly is a look into what might be the final version of this game.
In the future, we expect to work on replacing the placeholder graphics, as well as potentially lengthening the story to give it time to breathe.
